Slow Feed Hay Feeder for Your Stall

OptiMizer InStall

USD $495.00

Comes with standard 1.6” OptiNet

Finally, a slow hay feeder for the stall that both you and your horse will love

The OptiMizer InStall is like a “pasture in a box” for a horse. It is a durable slow feeder that can hold up to 25 pounds of hay, enough to keep most horses content all the time they are in their stalls.

  • Less than 1% of hay fed in OptiMizers is wasted.
  • Hay is kept clean and the eating position is head down.
  • It is really quick and easy to fill

The OptiMizer InStall was designed to be mounted in the corner of a stall and measures 29″ by 29″ and is 22″ deep. The mounting height is up to you, based on your horses’ requirements. OptiNet knotless netting drapes over the hay as it is consumed slowly through the openings. The netting is mounted on a stainless steel assembly and it just takes two fingers in the horse-proof latch to open and close the net.

The OptiMizer InStall comes assembled with the standard 1.6″ OptiNet. Please contact us at info@hayoptimizer.net for a quote if you would prefer a smaller (1.25″) or larger (2.5″) net.

The OptiMizer InStall has one drainage hole for cleaning the feeder. The InStall can be used to pre-soak hay prior to feeding. Simply use a bathtub plug to plug the drainage hole and place a bucket under the InStall to catch the water when you pull the plug. The InStall can be used outside mounted in shelters or fence corners. A second 1” drainage hole may be needed to ensure adequate drainage if the OptiMizer InStall is out in the rain.

What Our Customers Say

So nice, we bought it twice! The Optimizer slow feeder.  With the money that we saved on our first purchase, we purchased a second feeder a year later, we monitored the wasted hay from ground feeding, hay huts and the Optimizer. Hands down the Optimizer saved us money compared to the other two hay feed methods.

If you are looking for a safe and reliable hay feeding solution, that will save you money, the Optimizer is the one for you.

The health of my horse has improved, which has made me so happy laughing!!!

My horse is a 17 year old, off-the-track thoroughbred who lives outside all year. She's a hard keeper, but by getting her the right amount of hay, whenever she wanted it, it was the first winter she didn't need an extra blanket.

- Laura T

Absolute game changer for my very messy Clydesdale. Zero waste, quick filling, and best of all slow feeding all night long.

- Taylor S

I've always had slow feed bags. I needed five or six a day to feed three horses. Last winter with the OptiMizer I could slow feed two bales in one place. This saved me a ton of time not hvaing to refill bags everday, plus I noticed it was way cleaner in the spring.
